Broken Not Defeated Wristband

Love what this brand stands for. My wristband lifts up myself and others that notice it. It’s usually a conversation starter in random spots like gas station or stores. They always ask why I got it and we both talk about what “being broken but not defeated” means to us. 🤘🏼🙏

To be perfectly honest I though nothing of it when I first made my purchase, but I put it on and sort of forgot about it. But a couple of days later I was driving home from work and I was feeling all of my problems and all of my frustrations at once. I looked over at my wrist and the Broken Not Defeated side was looking directly at me. In that moment I had a clearer understanding of the intent behind the words. I pulled over and started meditating and really focused on my breathing, after a short while of just deep inhales and exhaling and simultaneously letting go of a stress or worry I started to contemplate how many times I've carried my frustrations home and how many times I've negatively impacted my wife and daughter through my energy. I made 2 vows on the side of the road. 1. I will meditate daily and let go of worries that are out of my control and 2. That I would only walk into my house with a positive state of mind to positively impact my wife and daughter.

This is a perfect message for my life. Many times life seems to have tried to break me but I choose not to let it defeat me.

I have been through a lot in the last year that has broken me. But I get up everyday and know I am not defeated, and I have 2 beautiful children to live for every day.
